CNFSimulator.FTD.D40 / D42 (hereinafter referred to as D40 / D42 FTD) is a flight training device independently developed by CnTech. The device adopts CnTech’s intelligent advanced flight control software, graphics,image system ,and electronic system, and mechanical integrated system. FTDs qualify for CAAC FTD Level 5, FAA FTD Level 5 and EASA FNPT II standards.Furthermore,FTD can be quickly switched between DA40 and DA42 models.

Different from ordinary single-type trainers, the fast switching function of single-engine and dual-engine of CNFSimulator.FTD.D40/D42 can be completed by maintenance personnel within a few minutes. CCAR-141 single-engine land aircraft and dual-engine land aircraft training requirements, a set of equipment can complete the training tasks of two types of aircraft, reducing equipment procurement costs, site use costs and human resource costs exponentially.

 

Starting from the new DA42NG/VI, the Diamond Aircraft began to use the Garmin G1000NXI integrated avionics system. In order to follow up on this upgrade requirement, CnTech's iFSim.G1000NXI avionics system is also deployed on CNFSimulator.FTD.D40/42 Level 5 trainer, combined with CAAC's ability to prevent Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT) and maintain situational awareness training For related requirements, the G1000NXI is equipped with a Forward Terrain Display (SVT), a Flight Path Display (Flightpath) and a Vertical Scenario Display (VSD). Based on global terrain data, the main flight display PFD can display relevant information such as obstacles, airport runways, rivers and lakes. At the same time, according to the data operation of the FMS flight control system, the preset course will form a visual guide in the form of a box. Student pilots can combine these functions in the initial instrument training stage to deepen their understanding of instrument procedures and obstacle clearance performance requirements. Operators can also use this combination of theory and training to improve the comprehensive quality of students and speed up the training rate of students.

 

According to the relevant requirements of the overall course for airline transport pilots, students need to master the corresponding skills of airborne equipment management, and automatic driving in the airline transport environment is also particularly important.
