FLIGHTLAB Adcanced Dvanced Rotorcraft Technology

FLIGHTLAB is a state-of-the-art, finite element, component-based, selective fidelity modeling and analysis software package. It supports modeling and simulation of rotorcraft, fixed-wing aircraft, compound aircraft, helicopters, multi-copters, drones, flying cars and experimental aircraft configurations.

FLIGHTLAB consists of two products: Development System and Run-time System. As well as a selection of add-ons: Viscous Vortex Particle Method(VVPM), PilotStation, and VPLAB. FLIGHTLAB comprehensive modeling capabilities include interfacing with Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) codes and the VVPM to model interactional aerodynamics between multiple vortex producing sources. Coupling these interactional aerodynamics with FLIGHTLAB's internal Computational Structural Dynamics(CSD) modeling capability provides fully coupled CFD/CSD/VVPM modeling and analysis.

FLIGHTLAB can be used in aircraft design and analysis, model development and simulator intergration, avionics and flight control testing, flight test support, and accident investigation. Since 1982, FLIGHTLAB has customized 6 level D, 12 level 6, and more than 20 basic engineering flight dynamics models.
