With the COVID-19 entering its third year, the countries are still in a state of continuous closure and control. Because the isolation policy suppresses the travel demand, the flight volume of the whole country is subject to a lot of constraints except freight. In addition to the semi annual full motion simulator retraining, the new and old flight crew can only wait for shift scheduling at home. In the long run, flight technical proficiency will decline in varying degrees, which will pose a potential threat to flight safety. With many years of experience in the simulation industry, CnTech has launched CNFSimulator.FTD.A32 to the field of transportation and aviation training proficiency maintenance solution.

 

The initial training mode of civil aviation pilots consists of Integrated Program Trainer (IPT) and Full Flight Simulator (FFS). After the pilot has mastered the procedure on the IPT, he enters the FSS for actual subject modification training. The IPT is composed of a full touch screen without surrounding visual system, and the pilot has no sense of immersion, which restricts the effect of flight training. Due to the high cost of FFS, the company generally purchases a limited amount. When the amount of training is concentrated, even if the simulator runs for 24 hours, it is difficult to digest the training needs. In the process of waiting, the pilot did not have a very effective training method except by reading the manual.

 

For the impact of the epidemic on the training of pilots, Lufthansa group took the lead in deploying FTD in its subsidiary Austrian Airlines and its own training institution, Lufthansa training school, as an effective supplement to A320 training. See Figure 1 for details:

Compared with the full mission flight simulator, the fixed trainer has many advantages in procurement, maintenance and operation cost. In terms of training effect, the purpose of subject training and program training can still be achieved by surrounding visual scene and high-precision data, and the training effect will be significantly improved compared with IPT. The fixed trainer allows the pilot to independently carry out normal operation procedure training, abnormal operation procedure and various emergency fault subjects. The cockpit environment of physical keys will bring pilots a more realistic training environment.

 

In order to meet the needs of pilots to maintain flight skill proficiency, CnTech has promoted CNFSimulator.FTD.A32 flight training device to the field of domestic transportation aviation training.
